- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly - Enter orders into the POS system and process payments through the cash register - Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner - Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests - Upsell menu items and promote daily specials - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery - Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and menus - Assist with food preparation and handling as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required - Strong knowledge of food service procedures and standards - Familiarity with using a cash register and handling cash transactions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Knowledge of OpenTable or other reservation systems is a plus - Ability to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting trays or plates weighing up to 25 pounds.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is also required.
